Yes, if you have an NDIS plan and you are willing and able to arrange the shifts you need directly with your support workers, you can use this service.
Yes, our support worker onboarding process is quick and simple. If you have someone in mind or have already engaged a support worker, we are happy to employ them on your behalf. As long asthey can provide some basic information that we need to ensure they are compliant with the law e.g. police check, etc.
If you don’t have a support worker, Orange Health will work with you to find one that suits your needs.
Your support worker can provide you with the type of support you need to achieve your goals. You decide what tasks they do, how they do them and when, so long as all safety precautions are used.
At the end of the 2 week pay period, your support workers submit their timesheet, you then approve and we pay them directly into their bank account. We also take care of all PAYG tax to the ATO, pay their superannuation and ensure that they are fully insured.
Orange Health charges the standard NDIS rates in line with the NDIS price guide. Only in some circumstances if the participant has high complex needs, we may charge at a higher rate, however, in this instance, we will pay your workers at a higher rate and will also discuss this with you first.
The great thing about Orange Health is that we have over 25 years experience of working in the disability sector delivering services to people with disabilities. This means that we are able to provide you with advice and support on your disability-related needs as well as with managing your schedule and support workers.
